Prayer Letter

October 2009

"To the Regions Beyond" "We work the fields of souls - together you and I" These songs we sing tell us we can never take the Gospel to a wrong address, city, state, or foreign country. "To whom much is given much is required", demands we reach souls in great need of the truth of the Gospel with all that we have.

In the Islands of Hawaii, we are just a few of the missionaries doing our best with what we have and God gives us. We convey the spiritual conditions of the Islands and the misconception of the needs for laborers to the churches who allow us to be heard. We express the need of help and support so that we can reach the native Polynesian people who have been left to serve the tourists who are awe struck by the islands' beauty.

Summer is Ended...
The season of chill has crept upon us Islanders. We defrost ourselves as we travel into the northern states of WI, MI and country sides of Ontario searching for those who will lend an ear or heart for our needy field.

Please continue praying for those who have said that they would support us. We still lack our needed support, Pray that we will fill our schedule, and churches will soon support us.

Plowing Forward!
The church in Hawaii has moved into a rental building, 1200 sq ft and we are overwhelmed with joy on how God is moving as the remodeling takes place in preparation of dedication day on November 1st. We long to return and labor with them as they continue to remain faithful.

Rubi and I are excited with what the Lord is doing for us while on deputation. We have been privileged to attend a Puppeteer Training Seminar, which excited Rubi, her heart is so with children and women ministries. She feels God has blessed her in many ways thru the workshops. Amen! A special blessing to the both of us was the Reformers Unanimous workshops, which was two days and three nights of preaching and Bible based workshops that dealt with people bound by addictions. It was tremendous. We are in awe and know that our Savior is preparing us for the work ahead. Our island is in trouble with so many addictions that are destroying families. God hears and sees the need, Will you ?

God is Blessing!
God has blessed our CD's and many families are listening to the music that has touched our hearts and comforted us thru the many years of serving Him. It features our testimonial songs, victory songs, and gospel songs in Hawaiian and English.

We are working on a sign up sheet along with the front cover of our CD to send to all the churches who have requested our CD. The cost of the CD's are $10 which will go toward our personal needs upon returning to the field. We will be mailing to the churches - those who have purchased and signed up for a CD.
