Prayer Letter
October/December 2011
Hafa Dai and Aloha Church families and friends,
|
Praise the Lord! 2011 has past and we are well on the
way in 2012! It's too late for Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year but the good news of souls receiving the gift of life
and a new life in Christ is never too late. Amen! During
these past 3 months we were so privileged to see God's
people rally, put forth their expressed love for our Lord as
October's "Ignite the Night" highlighted everyon'es unique
"Bible" games, costumes and "Puppet Show". Praise the Lord!
we used our puppet equipment provided by you our faithful
supporters. God blessed as many boys and girls heard the
gospel and trusted Christ as Saviours. In December "The
Wonders of Christmas" a live musical play compiled by Rubi
and performed by our church and school children. As in
October's public outreach endeavor this venue brought
hundreds of visitors to our outdoor pavilion to see and hear
the gospel message. After a brief message an invitation was
given and a recorded 31 souls, mostly adults were saved and
many other unknown silent professions that only heaven hears
from. WHAT A GOD WE SERVE! Rubi and I are SO thankful to
report these precious souls saved to "your account" Amen! |
| The "Military Ministry" here , the
"Strong Bonds" program is a once a month weekend retreat for
military families. Since Rubi and I volunteered our singing
ministry in the past we accepted their offer to become
certified teachers and were sent to Hawaii for a week long
training. (We had an alterior motive.) The trip afforded us
almost 3 weeks in Hawaii, kicking off Kahikolu Baptist
Church's missions conference. It was a blessing to be back
at the work to report what God has been doing in Guam. The
church has sold the old property and presently seeking to
acquire a 3 acre lot with a home on it. Pray we get the
financing together to close the deal. (More to come about
this soon.) A big blessings for us was greeting our son.
Keoki, Dana and grandson Genesis wh have moved to Hawaii to
start a church and are presently settling in. Please pray
for them as they are in need of FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Trusting
God to provide they came believing and are agressively
laboring to get settled in. Wonder where they learned to do
that? Please pray for them as they are going to labor
amongst some of the most hardened and needful people of
Hawaii. We so enjoyed being with them as well as our other
grandchildren from our duaghter Paula who still live there;
we are prayerfully seeking God to move our children to serve
Him together. We still have our youngest Laura in Los
Angeles, CA who is finishing her Masters; pray she'll join
her siblings for JESUS. Amen! The short trip was such a
blessing before returning to spearhead our church's
Christmas program, please pray for those souls saved,
predominately Chatholic, we have so much discipling to do.
Praise the Lord! Amen! |
| Most importantly we want to thank
so many of you who have responded to our financial needs in
our last letter. As of January 1st, this new year's day Rubi
and I have a home complete with living, dining, office and
bedroom funishing. All of which were only possible through
your giving. Rubi was so excited to use her gift of
homemaking and decorating with those very sentimental family
pictures, anniversary and brithday gifts from many special
years of the past. We haven't seen some of these things
since 2005 when God moved us from the Big Island of Hawaii
to the west coast of Waianae, Oahu. God is so good! |
Please know how grateful and humbled
we are ministering here for Christ's sake. We value your
prayers and support. Once again, THANK YOU FOR
GIVING TO THE LORD! and for your faithfulness this
past year! May the Lord richly bless you!
Serving the Lord together, E.L. & Rubi Kaeo |
