Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Dear Friends,

Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. KJV

Giving Thanks to God for His Provisions and Blessings
We are awestruck by the way our Lord has provided us the means to complete our travels for His glory and honor since the Ft Hood, TX incident. We arrived Los Angeles, CA and because of anonymous donors who provided for our room, board and tuition for missionary communication training we finished better equipped for the deputation trail that we have begun now for over a year.

Thank the Lord for Snow!
After the training camp, we left the mountains of CA with 6" of snow and arrived our destination in CO with several more inches of snow! Rubi had been praying to see snow and she did. It was beautiful to see as we traveled for thru CO, NM and AZ, but not too comfortable to be in. Amen!

Thanksgiving with Family!
We had a great time thanking our Lord for his abundant blessings on Thanksgiving Day. The joy of spending quality time with family is so important and we are grateful for the time we had with our daughter Laura, son, Keoki, his wife Dana and their son GJ.

Thank God for the work in Hawaii!
Praise the Lord! we arrived Oahu on Dec 2nd for a much needed visit by their Senior Pastor and his wife, Rubi. Yes, we needed to come back primarily to encourage God's people and report on the blessings God has provided Kahikolu Baptist Church. Amen!

We found the work going forth in our absence and hanging on throughout all the changes in merging. One notable sight is the homeless and unltimate spiritual conditions of the native Hawaiian people. Pray for souls to saved, souls to be changed, souls to be reached for Christ! Amen!

Praise from Scripture
3 John 5-9 5 Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers; 6 Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well: 7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles. 8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth. KJV
