Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Dear Friends,

Praise the Lord for a new supporting church in Midlothian, TX, Liberty Baptist Church. In January 2009 Pastor Leonard and church family were very receptive to the needs of reaching the people of Hawaii. Presenting us with a large puppet, puppet plays on CD and a sound system full with speakers, stands and amplifier, the church led of the Lord began supporting us this month. Truly, visionaries and helpers of the ministry.

More Praises!
          February began with a trip to cold Buffalo, NY and Canada for the Indigenous Baptist Missions Conference that resulted in two seasoned men in the ministry surrendering to minister among the indigenous people in Canada. After presenting the native people of Hawaii to the preachers present, Pastor Larry Olson of Wichita, KS said his church will start supporting us, also Pastor Ron Burning of Canada heard our burden and shared that his church would also be picking us up for support. God is moving. Amen! This makes 11 new supporting churches. We praise the Lord!

More Prayers!
          Please pray for scheduling into new churches to present our needs, for new supporting churches to start right away; for our reaching full support by November 2009, for health and strength to carry on. Please continue to pray for Rubi's condition to improve with proper treatment and medication. I have been put on insulin by my doctor and need to lose 70 lbs.
