Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday's Massacre too close to home!
The east gate to Ft Hood is just 2 blocks away from Rubi's mom's home, we were raised here as dependants, attended grade and high school, we are home when we arrive Ft Hood/Killeen. As we left yesterday for our CA meetings, we prayed with mom and Rubi's brother Ray for God's watch care and kissed them good-bye to learn just 4 hours later of the horrible shootings. We immediately wanted to rush home, but after calling our family everyone was ok. Our brother Ray who works security at the entrances of Ft Hood was working at a location off the main base.

Souls in need of the Saviour
We thank God our families are fine, but certainly weep for the losses of those precious souls. We travel all over the U.S. and have seen the hurts, sufferings, tribulation of humanity and yes even of God's people. The evidence of people needing Christ Jesus is way too obvious, it leaves our hearts tender. Lord help us

God is still working...
We were in three mission conferences that took us to Ontario Canada, Albia & Newton, IA and finally Enfield, CT. We drove the whole way, we praised God's name and cried thank you Lord for these Churches concern for missions. We know there is hope for mankind because God is working in and through His people..

Commending God's people
Rubi and I thank you for being one of God's people, who stand ready as emergency personnel for the bereaved, the captives, the desperate and hurting ones. Thank you for praying, caring, giving and going!
