Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Weekly Report July 10, 2008 Dear Friends, After paying close attention to the roads of the Everglades, being careful not to meet up with or run over alligators and giggling over road signs that read "mosquito crossing", we proceeded forward!Upcoming dates Whew - what excitement we have had! The Native American Ministries that we were privileged to attend and share our burdens of our people left an impact in the hearts of my wife and me for their people. Please continue hearing our need of reaching out financially and prayerfully in helping our brethren! Our hearts were moved as each tribe prayed for each other and that the Lord would call out native men to reach their people. There are men being called but discouragements are coming their way. We sang and shared our testimonies as their hearts were also touched. Amen! Praise News Wow! What a awesome God we have. Big Cypress New Testament Baptist Church paid ALL the medical bills we had posted on our weekly update letters. We praise the Lord for using His people to help such a need as we had! Our car was being filled with gas as God's people helped the missionaries on their way. Mahalo everyone, God Bless You! Special Needs And Prayer Requests Left to pay - Amen! X-Ray Sinuses -($112) - VA medical - ($122.23) Also, our furlough car loan - ($7000.) We both are in need of eye exams and glasses. Our vision has worsened and we both are using magnifying specs. We are currently going to be in new churches, and have already been in several - please pray that these will pick us up for monthly support. The other side of paradise cannot only be viewed as a "get-away vacation dream". We must get back and reach those island people. Help us get back! Pray for Kahikolu Baptist Church. Also pray for Brother Rick Denham taking care of God's work in our absence, and for their growth. Please continue praying for our loved one, Sister Iwa for her recovery.
