Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Weekly Report July 27, 2008 Dear Friends, We've been attacked by climate change from cool to hot and humid. Both my wife and I have come down with sinus colds and than coughs. Even though our voices were not up to par, we attempted to sing and share our field. We must push forward there's lot more ground to cover, Amen!Previous Travels We drove from South Dakota to Ohio, then Canada back to Ohio, then to Indiana. The Word was preached and challenges given to not hold back your God given talents; use them! The response was great as altars were filled and lives touched.Praise News Thank you Lord! Big Cypress Baptist in Florida, Hollister Baptist in Missouri and Central Baptist in Kansas have joined our family of supporting churches. They now share our vision for a great and needy field. Lord knows we need an increase in financial help, so we can minister effectively. We Praise the Lord! our health has returned and we are both feeling much better and our voices are sounding normal again. Special Needs And Prayer Requests We still have medical expenses and still in need of help. Sinus xrays of $112, VA tests & visits of $122.23 Our auto loan of $7000 remains as continued medical needs are on standby:; we both need eye exams and glasses. We continue to use cheap reading glasses. We continue to pray for the several promises of support to begin and those waiting for the funds to be provided. We need the additional support, we must have the help! Please pray with us! We will always lift up Kahikolu Baptist Church in prayer. They have been faithful to persevere for over 20 years and now have land to build a permanent meeting place. Pray we can raise the money to begin building. Sister Iwa continues to battle blood issues, pray for her healing.
