Missionaries to Native Hawaiians

Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Weekly Report

September 23, 2008

Dear Friends,

All is well. There's a song that comes to mind

When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost;
Count your many blessings name them one by one,
and it will surprise what the Lord has done.

Our dear Friends in Christ, that is what our Lord wants to always show us . Amen!

Previous Travels

     The last couple of weeks we were at Lafayette, LA-Central Baptist, Ottawa, KS-Bible Baptist (which was their Missions month and Ladies overnighter Retreat), then Junction City, KS. We had two cancellations in Houston , TX due to the Hurricane damage. In those states, we were either ahead of or just miles away from tornadoes and hurricanes. God watches!! Amen!

Praise News

     After being with Lafayette that Sunday morning, Pastor Bob Nolan has been challenging the congregation to pass out 10,000 tracts for the year 2008. Praise the Lord they are ! We went to eat at a Sandwich Deli with Pastor and several of his faithful members, a tract was placed in the hands of a young lady awaiting her ride after finishing work. I went to refill my tea as we all were leaving, she had just finished reading the tract, I approached and asked if she understood and would like to receive the Lord as her Saviour, with gleam in her eyes she replied "yes, I do" We prayed and she received the Lord as her Saviour. I went to the parking lot to share the good news of the precious soul that was saved by a tract that was placed by one of God's servants! We ran and welcomed her to God's family! We huddled together and prayed and thank the Lord.
     My wife was truly blessed by the Ladies Of Bible Baptist Church in Ottawa, KS as she was pampered with gifts and treated to her own suite for the beginning of their Retreat. She spoke on Trusting In God and "There's Joy in Rejoicing." What a awesome time she had. It was a relaxing time for her.
