Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Weekly Report October 24, 2008 Dear Friends, We thought we've seen all the road kill one
could possibly want to see, until we passed a full grown cow in TX. That
one really surprised us. We don't like to see accidents with ambulance
and fire dept. present. It's humbling and while passing we send prayers
for those injured and wonder if they knew the Lord. Your prayers have
been answered as God has kept us safe! Previous Travels These past three weeks we have been in 9 meetings thru MO, KS, and TX five with hopes of monthly support, one of which was the last day of their Missions Emphasis. It's exciting to see God's people receiving the challenge to fill out Faith Promise cards and trusting that God would supply "ALL" our needs.We missionaries GO by faith, trusting the Lord will provide, knowing God's people will practice the same principle to provide for the needs of missionaries and GIVE. We must stop and THANK YOU! for TRUSTING THE LORD! as you give so faithfully and PRAISE GOD! for ultimately providing. AMEN!!! Praise News A couple of months ago a member of our work on Oahu called about a RV he purchased online and wanted to make it available for families who may be traveling on deputation. He is making all the necessary repairs mechanically but needed me to pick it up. There are a lot of PRAISE THE LORDS! in order here, Though it took me four days and five breakdowns to get it to Killeen, TX from Ft Wayne, IN we Praise the Lord for a dear saints Phil, Jenny, Hannah and Craig for the love expressed in helping me along the way. Pray for one of his workers to trust Christ, not ready to receive Jesus as Saviour, we pray for continued watering and Praise the Lord for the open door to witness for Him. Our needs continue financially to keep up with ongoing costs of
traveling. After traveling over 30K miles our truck will need tires
soon, Rubi's continued costs for herbal supplements to forego
neurological evaluation leading to surgery is our prayers and hopes for
a cure. She has gotten better, the pains aren't as intense or frequent,
