Missionaries to Native Hawaiians

Let us take you to the other side of Hawaii that you possibly are not aware of - where their only option is to live on the beach because of the high cost of living. There is a high rate of drug addiction among adults as well as youth. Many live on sectioned homestead land where they have to be 50% or more Hawaiian ethnic background to live. The people are similar to Native Indians who live on reservations.

Weekly Report

November 19, 2008

Dear Friends,

Yes! Rubi got to touch the snow from a patch of snow on the side of the road in Colorado and formed a snowball to toss up in the air! Our God gives us those moments to treasure and giggle together - AMEN! We enter into the chilled weather, but that's okay, our Lord kept us clothed with warmth. Keep pressing on.

We have posted our DVD Field Presentation on our website and also a few of our CD music. You can access these from our home page.

Previous Travels

Wow! We have made it thru Colorado and Arizona. Our next travels are to California and Texas, once again presenting our field in new churches. We are sure praying for that to be an answer to prayer!

Praise News

We attended 1st Baptist of Peaceful Valley, in Colorado Springs, where we were blessed by joining them for Saturday morning visitation. A huge school bus pulled up, and whole families from babies to teens to adults loaded up and pulled out to pass out tracts and invites to Church - over 50 people were on that bus! What excitement that was to Rubi my wife and me! Glory to God for a mission-minded church! God bless you folks.
God answers Prayers! We have 3 new promises of supporting churches - pray that it will come in. May our Lord see it happen. Rubi had 4 days of horrible, paralyzing pain, But our God manages to put people before us who can help. One lady who also had trigeminal neuralgia previously, gave Rubi some medication. This dear sister blessed us more than she knew. Amen!

Special Needs And Prayer Requests

Rubi's trigeminal neuralgia needs more investigation, so the Doc gave her an order to have a MRI on her brain to see if there is a tumor or something pressing on the nerve - then, from there, we can plan our attack to get rid of this excruciating pain she has been experiencing. She will be having the MRI done in Texas. Pray all goes well. She keeps wanting to travel - she doesn't want to miss out on anything. She finds joy in meeting God's people.
We know from other missionaries that packets can cost hundreds of dollars to generate and mailout. We need the capability of burning multiple CD/DVD's and printing assistance in order to send out presentations before calling to schedule a meeting.
